Product Description

Polyester Mat is an improved carrier material for bituminous waterproofing membrane. This material is produced with long fiber or short fiber polyester mat, reinforced with glass fiber filament/thread, to increase the tensile strength and tear resistance during high speed processing and installation.

The reinforced material has higher tensile & tearing strength, which enables it to be applied in high speed production (with high on-line mechanical tension). The finished bituminous waterproofing membrane has better performance, especially when applied in cold regions, to avoid gapping problem in the joint area due to thermal contraction.
