Product Description

Non woven geotextile can be made of polypropylene (PP), or polyester (PET), Polyvinyl or synthetic fiber on needle punch machine. The mass is available from 100gsm to 1500gsm and the width available from 2.0m-6.5m, monolayer or multilayer (reinforcement geotextiles), long fiber or short fiber. The fabric can also be heat treated by infrared at customer's requirements. Our geotextile are UV stabilized to give protection against aging under exposure to natural ultra-violet light.

The major functions: Separation, filtration, drainage, reinforcement, protection, and liquid barrier. It is widely used in the area of highway, railway, dam, costal beach for reinforcement, filtration,separation and drainage,especially used in salt marshes and garbage burying field.

Application

1. Reinforcement effect: Used in rock engineering such as highways, railways, airports, stone dams, slope embankments, retaining walls, and embankments, to disperse soil stress, increase soil modulus, limit soil slip, and improve stability.

2. Protection function: prevent the embankment from being washed away by wind, waves, tides, and rain, and use it for bank protection, slope protection, bottom protection, and soil erosion prevention.

3. Reverse filtration: Used as a filter layer for embankments, dams, rivers, and coastal rocks, soil slopes, and retaining walls, to prevent sand particles from passing through and allow water or air to pass freely.
